After graduating from CPIT (Ara) with a Degree in Architectural Studies in 2012 (honours), Olivia Aitken has now been in the building and design industry for over 10 years, completing an extensive range of projects and working with a diverse range of people and clients.
She has worked alongside weathertightness experts, building surveyors and compliance officers in her first role for six years; and a housing company before starting her own practice in 2018. This previous experience has shaped her eye for avoiding unnecessary risk, and construction efficiency.
She enjoys spending time with her partner and children, family and friends exploring her creative side with anything artistic– painting, floristry, cooking etc; and travelling whenever possible!

Our main design philosophy at OMA architecture is to really listen to the client, treat you as an individual, you are the one that will be living in the spaces we are creating
together.
We are there to work with you to advise on pros and cons, advise of alternate options and cost considerations, and assist in futureproofing your home for years to come.
As part of this philosophy, we ensure that we do our best to reduce the impact on the environment, whilst considering your budget and time restraints.
